Tracing Buddy is a versatile tool designed for creating drawing grids and anamorphic images. It offers a simple and user-friendly interface, allowing you to easily transfer pictures onto a drawing surface.

One of the standout features is the perspective distortion functionality, which opens up a world of drawing illusions. By applying distortion to your images and transferring them to a drawing surface with a grid, you can create captivating and visually striking artwork.

The app is optimized for both iPhone and iPad use, ensuring a seamless experience across different devices. It even supports Dark Mode, providing added convenience for users.

The grid features offered by Tracing Buddy are highly customizable:
<ul>
 <li>Choose between square divisions or your preferred aspect ratio</li>
 <li>Adjust the color and transparency of grid lines</li>
 <li>Select from four subdivision styles and personalize their color and transparency</li>
 <li>Customize the grid background color and image transparency</li>
 <li>Modify the scale and position of your image within the grid</li>
 <li>Save grid settings in projects for easy access</li>
</ul>

In addition, the image features are extensive:
<ul>
 <li>Choose from a regular image, line art style, black &amp; white values, or utilize the person detection filter to remove backgrounds</li>
 <li>The black &amp; white filter allows you to transform images into grayscale, adjust shadows and highlights using the included tone curve, and reduce the number of values in the picture for easier handling</li>
 <li>The person detection filter comes in handy when dealing with images containing people. It enables you to remove backgrounds and replace them with transparent or solid colors</li>
</ul>

If you're interested in creating anamorphic images, Tracing Buddy provides two methods:
<ul>
 <li>AR method: Let Tracing Buddy guide you through the entire process using augmented reality. This requires an iOS device equipped with AR capabilities</li>
 <li>Picture method: Capture an image with your phone or an external camera, and manually apply perspective distortion. Please note that this method requires knowledge of the dimensions of the surface you wish to transfer your picture onto</li>
</ul>

To access additional premium features, you have the option to either subscribe or make a lifetime purchase. These premium features include ad removal, premium image filters, multiple project management, and the ability to export in PNG file format.
